EMPHASIS: Five New Troopers Assigned To Troop C
On December 18, 2009, 25 new troopers graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City. The six-month training program consisted of more than 1,000 hours of intense classroom and practical training as well as a rigorous physical fitness regimen. Troop C Commander Captain Ronald S. Johnson is proud to announce that five troopers have been assigned to Troop C and will begin patrolling local roadways after completion of a three-month field training period.
The following troopers have been assigned to Troop C, St. Louis:
Trooper Jonathan M. Conrad, 25, will be assigned to Zone 10, Franklin County. Trooper Conrad is a graduate of Mississippi Valley Christian High School in Alton, Illinois. Trooper Conrad attended Hannibal LaGrange College in Hannibal, Missouri, and graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice. He and his wife, Stephanie, have one child, seven-month-old Emma.
Trooper Adam S. Huskey, 25, will be assigned to Zone 12, Jefferson County. Trooper Huskey is a graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, Missouri, and attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He and his wife Brooke, have one child, three-year-old Cale.
Trooper David A. Close, 25, will be assigned to Zone 10, Franklin County. Trooper Close currently lives in Union, Missouri. Trooper Close graduated from Dunedin High School in Dunedin, Florida. Trooper Close attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a degree in psychology.
Trooper Catherine M. Bishop, 23, will be assigned to Zone 10, Franklin County. Trooper Bishop is from Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School. She attended California University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice.
Trooper Jason S. Albers, 29, will be assigned to Zone 11, Franklin County. Trooper Albers graduated from O’Fallon Township High School in O’Fallon, Illinois. Trooper Albers attended and graduated from Saint Louis University, in St. Louis, with a degree in criminal justice.
