EMPHASIS: Joint Narcotics Investigation In Laclede County
Captain Kyle Marquart, director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control, announces the results of a joint narcotics investigation in Laclede County.
On Saturday, July 3, 2010, at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, Lebanon Police Department, and the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 140 Michigan, Lebanon, Missouri. As a result of the search warrant, approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine, a quantity of diazepam, alprazolam, drug paraphernalia, and $2,565 in United States currency was seized.
As a result of this investigation, Donald R. Spradling, 44, and Amenda K. Spradling, 46, were arrested for one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $50,000 cash for both, and both are currently incarcerated in the Laclede County Jail. Christi L. Hilton, 30, was arrested for two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Hilton's bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety, and she subsequently posted bond on her charges.
The Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force. Its members include the sheriff’s departments of Camden, Gasconade, Crawford, Pulaski, Laclede, and Maries counties, as well as the Lebanon and Osage Beach police departments. LANEG is governed by a board of directors and is coordinated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
