EMPHASIS: Thirteen New Troopers Assigned To Troop C

Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, announces the assignment of thirteen new troopers to Troop C, Weldon Spring, Missouri. These officers were members of the 94th Recruit Class, which began training at the Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri, on July 1, 2011, and graduated on December 16, 2011. The 25-week training program is comprehensive, covering all facets of law enforcement. The officers will report for duty on January 3, 2012.

The new troopers assigned to Troop C and their assignments are as follows:

Trooper Jason A. Akers, 24, a native of St. Louis, MO was assigned to zone 16, serving St. Francois/Ste. Genevieve counties. Trooper Akers is a graduate of Parkway South High School, St. Louis, MO and attended St. Louis Community College at Meramec. Before his commission he worked at Allied Barton Security.

Trooper Jason A. Ashby, 35, a native of Warren, OH was assigned to zone 12, serving Jefferson County. Trooper Ashby is a graduate of Eureka High School, Eureka, MO and attended St. Louis Community College. Before his commission he worked as a journeyman carpenter.

Trooper Ryan W. Clement, 22, a native of Springfield, MO was assigned to zone 10, serving Franklin County. Trooper Clement is a graduate of Hartville High School, Hartville, MO and has an associate of arts degree from College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, MO. Before his commission he worked for United Parcel Service.

Trooper Robert R. Davis, 24, a native of Overland Park, KS was assigned to zone 19, serving Lincoln/Pike counties. Trooper Davis is a graduate of Fort Zumwalt South High School, St. Peters, MO. Before his commission he worked as an auto mechanic.

Trooper Jennifer A. Dopplick, 23, a native of St. Louis, MO was assigned to zone 13, serving Jefferson County. Trooper Dopplick is a graduate of Mehlville High School, St. Louis, MO and has a bachelor's of science degree in criminal justice from the University of Missouri.

Trooper Trevor H. Elliston, 26, a native of Mt. Vernon, IL was assigned to zone 13, serving Jefferson County. Trooper Elliston is a graduate of Mt. Vernon Township High School, Mt. Vernon, IL and attended Rend Lake College, Ina, IL. Before his commission he was employed by the United States Navy as a 3rd Class Petty Officer.

Trooper Eric J. Graslie, 26, a native of St. Louis, MO was assigned to zone 9, serving St. Charles County. Trooper Graslie is a graduate of Timberland High School, Wentzville, MO and has an associate of arts degree from Mineral Area College, Park Hills, MO.

Trooper Erica L. Grass, 23, a native of Lake St. Louis, MO was assigned to zone 8, serving St. Charles County. Trooper Grass is a graduate of Holt High School, Wentzville, MO and has a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Murray State University, Murray, KY. Before her commission she was a student.

Trooper Patrick T. Harms, 24, a native of St. Charles, MO was assigned to zone 9, serving St. Charles County. Trooper Harms is a graduate of Francis Howell High School, St. Charles, MO and has a bachelor’s of arts degree in environmental biology from Lindenwood University, St. Charles, MO. Before his commission he worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Trooper Jordan A. Hilliard, 23, a native of Mount Vernon, IL was assigned to zone 2, serving St. Louis County. Trooper Hilliard is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, Mount Vernon, IL and has a bachelors of science degree in criminal justice from Quincy University, Quincy, IL. Before his commission he worked as a firefighter for the city of Quincy, IL.

Trooper Justin J. Moll, 30, a native of Centralia, IL was assigned to zone 2, serving St. Louis County. Trooper Moll is a graduate of Centralia High School, Centralia, IL and has a bachelor’s of arts degree in criminal justice from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. Before his commission he worked in accounting for Centralia Township, IL.

Trooper Eric D. Rehmert, 44, a native of Morrison, IL was assigned to zone 10, serving Franklin County. Trooper Rehmert is a graduate of Erie High School, Erie, IL and has a bachelor’s of science degree in law enforcement and administration from Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL. Before his commission he worked as a corrections officer in Jefferson City, MO.

Trooper Nicholas B. Yoder, 24, a native of Lake Forest, IL was assigned to zone 15, serving St. Francois and Washington Counties. Trooper Yoder is a graduate of Mundelein High School, Mundelein, IL and has a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, IN. Before his commission he was a personal trainer.
