EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop F

Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has announced that five new troopers will be assigned to Troop F. The new troopers were members of the 93rd Recruit Class which began training at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy on January 3, 2011 and graduated on June 24, 2011. They will begin their field training on July 11, 2011.

Trooper Blake A. Dettenwanger has been assigned to Zone 6 which covers Morgan and Moniteau counties. He is a graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School, Montgomery City, Missouri. In 2009, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice administration from Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Michael A. Turner, and his field training officer will be Corporal Donald R. Barbour.

Trooper Nathaniel R. Schaffer has been assigned to Zone 5 which covers Camden and Miller counties. He is a graduate of Unity High School, Mendon, IL. He served four years in the US Navy prior to joining the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Richard E. Buttram, and his field training officer will be Corporal Timothy Mosley.

Trooper Benjamin J. Graf has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 04, which encompasses Audrain County. He is a graduate of Reeds Spring High School, Reeds Spring, MO. In 2010, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in General Education Studies of Criminal Justice and Human Service Columbia College in Columbia, MO. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Douglas McPike, and his field training officer will be Corporal Bruce McLaughlin.

Trooper Cody C. Frame has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 8, which encompasses Callaway County.
Tpr. Frame is a graduate of Hannibal High School, Hannibal, MO. In 2010, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in mechanical engineering from University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Jerry L. Arnold, and his field training officer will be Corporal Troy D. Stegeman.

Trooper Tye W. DeCramer has been assigned to Zone 12, which encompasses Osage and Gasconade counties.
Tpr. DeCramer is a graduate of Cape Girardeau High School, Cape Girardeau, MO. In 2010, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant David Spurgeon, and his field training officer will be Trooper Coby G. Holzschuh.
