EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces DWI Saturation

Captain James W. Remillard, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that sometime during the month of September, troopers assigned to Troop I will be involved in a special enforcement operation specifically targeting those drivers who are operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in Crawford County.
“Too many people are seriously injured or killed on Missouri’s streets and highways every year by drunk drivers,” said Captain Remillard. “I hope that these saturation patrols may serve as another important tool in fighting this serious problem.”
In support of “The Drive To Zero Highway Deaths,” the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
