EMPHASIS: Ellsinore Man Arrested On Drug Charges

On Saturday, April 02, 2011, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Tommy L. Adams, 31, Ellsinore, Missouri, was arrested by members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control on a class B felony charge of distribution, delivery, manufacture, or production of a controlled substance.
Adams’ arrest is the result of a lengthy investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Missouri Attorney General’s Office, Missouri Division of Fire Safety, and the Carter County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
The charges for which Adams was arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt.
Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty
is to determine guilt or innocence.
The investigation is ongoing.
