EMPHASIS: Troop H Will Conduct Passenger Safety Enforcement Program

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, in St. Joseph, announces that Troop H will participate in an enforcement program designed to further the use of seat belts and child restraints. On September 24, 2010, troopers will conduct the operation on both Interstates 29 and 35 in Troop H. The officers will place special emphasis on taking enforcement action on drivers and passengers who are stopped for traffic violations and who are not properly restrained.
Captain Robinson stated, “Seat belts are saving lives every day in Missouri. Please take the extra second and buckle your seat belt.”
