EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint Conducted In St. Francois County

Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, St. Louis, announces the results of a sobriety checkpoint conducted in St. Francois County by Troop C officers.
On Saturday, September 5, 2009, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a sobriety checkpoint in St. Francois County.
As a result of the checkpoint, a total of 58 arrests were made and 52 warnings were issued. Of those arrests, five individuals were arrested for driving while intoxicated. Eight seat belt, and one child restraint summons were issued.
