EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Driving While Intoxicated Saturation
Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, St. Joseph, announces that sometime during the month of May, a sobriety saturation will take place in Troop H. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct the operation. This is a program that concentrates troopers in an area to monitor traffic and check for impaired drivers.
“Spring is a time for outdoor activities,” said Capt. Robinson. “Unfortunately, some motorists will become intoxicated and operate a motor vehicle. The results of this behavior are devastating crashes that harm our families.”
The Missouri State Highway Patrol urges motorists to report erratic driving. The Patrol has two toll-free telephone numbers for reporting emergencies. These numbers are, 1-800-525-5555 and cellular *55.
