EMPHASIS: Troop H Announces Sobriety Checkpoints For July

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, announces two sobriety checkpoints to be conducted:
The sobriety checkpoints will be held in Andrew and Clinton counties sometime during the month of July. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct the two checkpoints with the assistance of the sheriff’s departments of the affected counties.
Captain Robinson stated, “The impaired driver is a danger for all of the motoring public. The checkpoints decrease this danger by removing these drivers from the road.”
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has toll-free telephone numbers for reporting emergencies. These numbers are 1-800-525-5555 or cellular *55.
