EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Checkpoint In DeKalb County
Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer, Troop H Headquarters, St. Joseph, announced today the results of a driving while intoxicated checkpoint that was held in DeKalb County on May 10, 2013. A total of 123 vehicles were stopped during the checkpoint. The following is a list of enforcement contacts for the operation:
Felony Arrest -- 1
Misdemeanor Warrant Arrests --2
No Driver's License -- 2
Driving While Suspended -- 1
Non-Moving Violations -- 2
Warnings -- 21
Captain Robinson stated, “The checkpoint is an important tool to remove impaired drivers from Missouri’s roadways. Please report erratic driving to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.”
To report impaired drivers, please call the Missouri State Highway Patrol Emergency Hotline at 1-800- 525-5555 or *55 on a cellular phone.
The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life and Wear It!!!
