EMPHASIS: Drug Seizure, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D


On Wednesday, February 4, 2009, an eastbound 2008 Dodge Charger was stopped by a trooper for speeding on Interstate 44 at the 87-mile marker, in Greene County. Due to inconsistent stories between the driver and the passenger, the trooper asked for and received consent to search the vehicle. As a result of the search, 94 pounds of marijuana, in duffel bags, was located inside the trunk.

The driver, Kenneth Q. Brisbon, 25, of Tempe, AZ, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

The charge for which the above person was arrested is a mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of this charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence.
