EMPHASIS: Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy Welcomed 99th Recruit Class

Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces that 44 people reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy on July 1, 2014, to begin the 25-week training course to become a trooper. The 99th Recruit Class is scheduled to graduate on December 19, 2014. The average age of the members of the 99th Recruit Class is 26 years. Of the recruits, 16 have attended some college, two have earned an associate’s degree, and 13 hold bachelor’s degrees. Ten of the recruits have prior military experience; five of the recruits have prior experience in law enforcement.

As of August 7, 2014, 34 recruits remain in the Academy. Listed below are the names and hometowns for members of the 99th Recruit Class:
