EMPHASIS: Annoucement Of Driving While Intoxicated Saturation


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, St. Louis, announces that sometime during the month of July, a driving while intoxicated saturation will take place in St. Louis and Franklin counties. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct the operation. This program concentrates troopers in a specific area to monitor traffic and rid Missouri roadways of intoxicated drivers.
“Approximately 29% of all fatal traffic crashes in Missouri involve drinking/drugs,” said Captain Johnson. “The Missouri State Highway Patrol is dedicated to removing intoxicated drivers from Missouri roadways.
