EMPHASIS: Drug Seizure, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D.

On September 18, 2010, an eastbound 2004 Infiniti sport utility vehicle was stopped by a state trooper for speed on Interstate 44, at the 83-mile marker, in Greene County. After discovering several indicators of suspected criminal activity, a canine sniff was conducted on the exterior of the vehicle, resulting in a positive alert. A roadside search revealed 87 pounds of marijuana located in two large duffle bags in the cargo area of the vehicle.
Arrested for drug trafficking were Kevin C. Edwards, Andre R. Harwood, and Richard B. Porter all of Bronx, NY. All three subjects were transported to the Greene County Sheriff's Office.
The charge for which the above persons were arrested is mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the above charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence.
