EMPHASIS: Sobriety Checkpoint Results


On March 14, 2009, a sobriety checkpoint was conducted in Mercer County. A total of 12 troopers were assigned to the four-hour operation.
No citations were issued during the checkpoint. Troopers issued 30 warnings to motorists for minor violations. A total of 63 vehicles came into the checkpoint.
Captain Duane L. Robinson stated, “We are encouraged by the results of the checkpoint.”
