EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Moving Operation


Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces the results of a special operation. The hazardous moving operation was conducted on June 10, 2009, in Buchanan County and is designed to target vehicles that are being operated in a hazardous manner.
A total of five troopers were assigned to the four-hour program. Troopers issued 18 summonses and 41 warnings to motorists, and made one felony arrest. The breakdown of the arrests and summonses are as follows:
Felony Warrant Arrest-- 1
Speed -- 9
Uninsured Motorists-- 2
Seat Belt -- 3
Non-moving-- 1
Other Hazardous Moving-- 1
Driver’s License Violation-- 1
Following Too Close-- 1
