EMPHASIS: Two Residences Searched In Johnson County


On July 16, 2008, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, Troop A, Lee’s Summit and the Troop A Marijuana Eradication Team searched two residences in Johnson County.
Evidence of an indoor growing operation was seized from a residence on SW 601 Road, Centerview, Missouri. Along with the materials for the indoor growing operation, 53 marijuana plants and approximately two pounds of processed marijuana were seized.
A search warrant was served at a residence on SW 25th Road, Holden, Missouri. The following items were seized from that residence: materials for an indoor growing operation, drug paraphernalia, one handgun, and approximately one pound of processed marijuana.
The filing of formal charges by the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office on all suspects are pending.
