EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Sobriety Checkpoint & Hazardous Moving Vehicle Operations

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, St Joseph, announces that sometime during the month of September, Troop H will conduct a sobriety checkpoint and hazardous moving vehicle operations. The sobriety checkpoint will be in Buchanan County and the hazardous moving vehicle operations will be held in Grundy, Harrison, and Livingston counties.
The checkpoint is a static operation on a specific highway that is designed to check every driver to ensure they are sober. The hazardous moving vehicle operations are designed to target vehicles that are being operated in a hazardous manner.
To report aggressive driving, motorists can use the Patrol’s emergency telephone numbers. They are 1-800-525-5555 or cellular *55.
