EMPHASIS: Troop B Officers To Conduct DWI Saturations In Adair County


Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces that Troop B officers will be conducting Special Traffic Enforcement Operations in Adair County on July 23 and July 24, 2010. During the enforcement operations, which will be held from 10:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. each day, officers will focus their attention on intoxicated drivers, speeding, and other traffic violations which contribute to traffic crashes.
"Troop B officers have been taking part in many special enforcement programs such as these during the last several months in an effort to reduce traffic crashes," stated Captain Wilt. "Please drive the speed limit, make sure everyone is properly restrained in your vehicle, and if alcohol is a part of your plans, choose a designated driver."
