EMPHASIS: Results Of May 2007 Enforcement Projects In Troop F


Captain Dale A. Schmidt, commanding officer of Troop F, Jefferson City, announced today the results of several DWI, saturation, and special enforcement projects conducted throughout Troop F during the month of May 2007. The projects were held in Boone, Callaway, and Howard counties.
During the enforcement operations a total of nine driving while intoxicated summonses were issued. In addition, 30 misdemeanor/infractions, three criminal misdemeanor arrests, and 71 traffic related arrests occurred.
“We were pleased with the number of intoxicated drivers that were removed from our roadways,” Captain Schmidt said. “We will continue to strictly enforce all traffic laws and DWI statutes in order to reduce fatalities and serious injuries”.
