EMPHASIS: Missing 78-Year-Old Randolph County Resident Located


On Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at approximately 8:25 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was requested to assist the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department with the search of a missing 78-year-old rural Randolph County resident. The initial report indicated the missing subject was possibly suffering from a medical condition, and he and his vehicle had been missing from his rural Higbee, Missouri, residence for approximately four hours. Officers from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, along with a Patrol helicopter, conducted a search of the surrounding area. At 10:05 a.m., the missing person and vehicle were located by the Patrol helicopter, about three miles from his residence in a driveway on Missouri Route B. Officers made contact with the 78-year-old male who was determined to be unharmed.
