EMPHASIS: Drug Investigation Results In Arrests Of Laclede County Residents


At approximately 5 a.m., on Thursday April 25, 2013, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Lake Area Narcotic Enforcement Group (LANEG), and the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department concluded a long-term narcotics investigation in Laclede County.
Over approximately 24 months, officers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and LANEG were able to conduct a series of narcotic investigations involving the possession, distribution, and sale of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, heroin, and prescription medications.
The investigation involved 34 loosely affiliated individuals in and around the Laclede County area. Warrants for each defendant (multiple counts on many) were obtained through the Laclede County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office prior to the mass arrest operation this morning.
Arrest teams consisted of members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Laclede County Sheriff’s Department, Lebanon Police Department, Conway Police Department, and LANEG.
Individuals arrested in conjunction with this investigation were transported, processed, and held for bond at the Laclede County Jail. The following individuals were arrested as a result of warrants issued for the listed offense(s):
Jacob W. Bogan, 32, Lebanon, MO, distribution of a controlled substance (two counts).
Sheri L. Burgess, 51, Lebanon, MO, distribution of a controlled substance (two counts).
Marjorie Hitchcock, 26, Lebanon, MO, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute (three counts).
Morgan M. Stewart, 27, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Chris L. McHardie, 48, Lebanon, MO, sale of as controlled substance (two counts).
Trenton W. Piercy, 30, Lebanon, MO, possession of a controlled substance.
Lonnie L. Myers, 69, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
James D. Jones, 27, Lebanon, MO, distribution of a controlled substance (two counts).
Robert D. McGinnis, 27, Lebanon, MO, possession of a controlled substance.
Lonnie J. Lancaster, 24, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Jeffrey K. Scott, 33, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Amber B. Williams, 20, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Kyle C. Michael, 20, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Jennifer A. Hentschel, 47, Lebanon, MO, possession of a controlled substance (two counts).
Dustin T. Lewis, 25, Newburg, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Krysta L.Williams, 29, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).


The following individuals were previously incarcerated within the facilities of various jurisdictions when arrested on charges stemming from this investigation.

David J. Grindstaff, 43, Lebanon, MO, distribution of a controlled substance (two counts).
Blaine W. Heimer, 23, Lebanon, MO, distribution of a controlled substance.
Cassandra A. Doss, 24, Lebanon, MO, distribution of a controlled substance.
Jonathan J. Moulder, 32, Lebanon, MO, sale of a controlled substance (two counts).
Stephen N. Vanluven, 24, Phillipsburg, MO, sale of a controlled substance.

During the course of the round-up, officers also made an arrest for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
LANEG is a multi-jurisdictional drug task force with members from the following sheriff's departments: Camden, Laclede, Crawford, Maries, Gasconade, Osage, and Pulaski counties, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and police departments from the following cities: Lebanon, Osage Beach, Conway, Camdenton, Bourbon, Cuba, Steelville, and Belle.
The charges for which these individuals have been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
