EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases DWI Saturation Operation Results


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G releases the following information:
A total of nine arrests and 12 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI Saturation held in Howell County. The saturation was held from 5 p.m. on December 15 to 1 a.m. on December 16, 2007.
These totals include one arrest for felony driving while intoxicated, one careless and imprudent driving arrest, three speeding arrests, and two non-moving arrests. Officers also issued summons for one driver’s license violation and one uninsured motorist violation. Additionally, troopers investigated two injury motor vehicle crashes and one crash involving an impaired driver during the course of the operation.
Captain Chadwick says, “Our officers were diligent in spite of the inclement weather we experienced during this operation. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is committed to the goal of ridding Missouri’s highways of drunk and drugged drivers.”
