EMPHASIS: Permanent Change To Motor Vehicle Inspection Days At Troop D Service Center

Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces a permanent change of motor vehicle inspection days at the Troop D Service Center, located at 5182 South Grand Avenue, Carthage, MO. Effective January 1, 2016, excluding holidays, salvage inspection appointments will be scheduled Monday through Wednesday. All other types of inspections will be performed on a walk-in basis on Thursdays. No appointment-based or walk-in inspections will be performed on Fridays. For questions or directions, please call 417-359-1504.

Patience and understanding from the public is and will be greatly appreciated.

Approximately 63 percent of Missouri fatal crash victims who are required to be restrained are NOT at the time of the traffic crash. The Patrol urges motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Join us in supporting the Drive To Zero Highway Deaths. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
