EMPHASIS: Troop I Employees Raise Money For Special Olympic Athletes

In 2007 employees of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop I, Rolla, once again raised money to help fund Special Olympics of Missouri. Through the sales of T-shirts and hats, along with donations, $7,627 was raised to help this worthy cause, which represents a 42.5 percent increase over last year’s fund-raising effort.
Employees of Troop I, which encompasses six counties, would like to thank everyone who helped, either financially or through giving their time to support the Special Olympic athletes. A special thank you is extended to the Wal-Mart stores that allowed Troop I employees to sell merchandise at their facilities and to those Wal-Mart stores that donated by matching sales totals.
