EMPHASIS: Troop D To Participate In Brake Safety Awareness Week


The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), will participate this year in “Brake Safety Awareness Week”, scheduled for September 12, 2010, through September 18, 2010.

“Brake Safety Awareness Week” is an educational outreach program designed to train companies, drivers, and mechanics about proper brake adjustment limits and air brake system inspection on commercial motor vehicles. In addition to the educational program, troopers and commercial vehicle officers from across the state will concentrate enforcement efforts for the week in the Troop D area focusing on brake violation detection.
