EMPHASIS: Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Operation To Be Conducted In February


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, announces a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) Operation will be held in Jackson County during the month of February. The operation will concentrate on hazardous moving violations, with a special emphasis on aggressive driving.
Captain Powell stated, “Troop A officers are working hard to help keep the roadways safe. I would like to remind motorists to report any aggressive driver by calling the Patrol’s toll free emergency telephone numbers of 1-800-525-5555 or cellular *55.”
