The goal of DWI enforcement projects is to deter impaired driving and to make citizens aware that drinking and driving will not be tolerated. To report a suspected intoxicated driver dial 9-1-1 or *55 on your cell phone. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted in this checkpoint by the Butler County Sheriff’s Department and the Missouri Department of Transportation.

In support of “The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths,” the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
