EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Results Of DWI Saturation In Howell County


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 47 arrests and 62 warnings were issued in conjunction with a DWI Saturation conducted on May 02, 2009 in Howell County. Totals from this saturation include:

2 -- misdemeanor DWI arrests
5 -- speed arrests
2 -- careless and imprudent driving arrests
19 -- seat belt summonses
5 -- child restraint summonses
5 -- driver’s license arrests
6 -- non-moving arrests
1 -- no-insurance arrest
1 -- misdemeanor drug arrest
1 -- other misdemeanor criminal arrest

Captain Chadwick says, “The Missouri State Highway Patrol has always taken DWI enforcement very seriously. DWI Saturations can be very effective in helping us achieve our traffic safety goals.”
