EMPHASIS: University Alliance Program

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces that Troop H will be conducting a University Alliance Program. The program seeks participation from university students who are interested in law enforcement and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. It will consist of five weekly sessions, designed to familiarize participants with various operational aspects of the Patrol. Students who are willing to commit to this program can expect a unique opportunity unlike any offered by the Patrol.
The University Alliance Program begins Tuesday, September 29, 2009, and concludes with a banquet on October 27, 2009. Participants from Missouri Western State University will experience hands-on teaching techniques similar to those used by the Patrol Academy. Most sessions will conclude with an activity that provides a practical experience. The program will conclude with a banquet, at which time the participants will be presented with certificates of participation.
