EMPHASIS: Drug Seizure, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D.

On May 31, 2010, an eastbound Freightliner conventional tractor trailer was stopped by a state trooper for following too close on Interstate 44, at the 84-mile marker, in Greene County. After discovering several indicators of suspected criminal activity, consent to search the vehicle was obtained by the trooper. A roadside search revealed 186 pounds of marijuana located in two large duffle bags inside the trailer.
The driver, Mario G. Villanueava, of Laredo, TX, was arrested for drug trafficking, and transported to Greene County Sheriff's Department.
The charge for which the above person was arrested is mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the above charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence.
