EMPHASIS: Troop C To Conduct S.T.E. P Operation

Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces that Troop C officers will be conducting a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program on all the major highways in St. Francois County on April 25, 2010. Extra officers will be scheduled to patrol the St. Francois area with a goal of detecting hazardous moving, alcohol, and speed violations that contribute to traffic crashes.

"Our goal is to reduce traffic crashes and promote safety upon the highways in St. Francois County," stated Captain Johnson. "This aggressive enforcement program will help us in our efforts."
