EMPHASIS: Missouri State Highway Patrol Makes Zero Arrests In Ferguson Over Weekend

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports zero arrests of protesters in the city of Ferguson, MO, over the past weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, along with the unified command consisting of the St. Louis County Police Department and the Metropolitan St. Louis Police Department, attributes the success of the past weekend to the strong efforts of the unified command, good discretion by officers, and because the citizens who exercised their right to protest did so in a lawful manner. The unified command is encouraged and pleased with this positive development, and encourages continued mutual respect between law enforcement and all the citizens participating in the demonstrations.
The unified command will continue to enforce the laws of the great state of Missouri, and will do so in a fair and respectful manner. The unified command will continue to make it a priority to provide all protesters with a safe and secure area to conduct their demonstrations.
