EMPHASIS: Results Of Hazardous Moving Violation Project In Jefferson County



Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the results of a hazardous moving project conducted in North St. Louis County by Troop C.

On Sunday, January 9, 2011, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a hazardous moving violation project in St. Louis County. During the eight hour project, four officers stopped a total of 61 vehicles. A total of 71 arrests were made and 40 warnings were issued. Among the arrests made, 46 were for speed, 12 for seat belt violations, and one for failing to yield. The remainder of the summonses issued was for miscellaneous traffic violations.
