EMPHASIS: Results Of DWI Saturation In Clinton County

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H, in St. Joseph, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation held on July 5, 2011, in Clinton County.

Troopers arrested two motorists for driving while intoxicated during the checkpoint. Troopers also issued summonses for one careless and imprudent driving violation, one speeding violation, one non-moving violation, and one uninsured motorist violation.

Captain Robinson stated, “Arresting impaired drivers is a priority of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. If your plans include alcohol, please designate a sober driver to ensure the safety of everyone.”
