EMPHASIS: Troop A To Participate In Brake Safety Awareness Week


The Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in conjunction with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will participate this year in “Brake Safety Awareness Week”, scheduled for August 26 through September 1, 2007.
“Brake Safety Awareness Week” is an educational outreach program designed to train companies, drivers, and mechanics about proper brake adjustment limits and air brake system inspection.
Captain Vincent J. Ellis, commanding officer of Troop A, invites all trucking companies who would like to participate in the program to contact the commercial vehicle enforcement office at the Troop A Headquarters in Lee’s Summit, at (816) 622-0800, extension 229.
