EMPHASIS: Long-Term Drug Investigation Leads To Numerous Arrests


At approximately 6 a.m., June 24, 2014, members of the South Central Drug Task Force, in coordination with the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, Rolla Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, concluded a long-term narcotics investigation in Phelps County.

Over the course of approximately 30 months, officers with the South Central Drug Task Force, Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, and Rolla Police Department were able to conduct a series of narcotics investigations involving the distribution/sales/possession of controlled substances. The investigation involved loosely affiliated individuals in and around the Phelps County area.

This investigation was aided by the 25th Judicial Circuit and the Phelps County Grand Jury convened by their authority. Grand Jury indictments for each defendant were obtained through the Phelps County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office prior to the mass operation initiated early June 24.

Arrest teams consisted of members of the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, Dent County Sheriff’s Department, St. James Police Department, Rolla Police Department, Salem Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Also called on to assist during yesterday’s operation was the Missouri Department of Family Services.

Individuals arrested in connection with this investigation were transported, processed, and held for bond at the Phelps County Jail. The following individuals were arrested as a result of warrants issued for the listed offense(s):

Michael P. Valley, 36, Rolla, MO, distribution of methamphetamine; bond set at $100,000.

David A. Ridenhower, 22, Doolittle, MO, manufacturing methamphetamine; bond set at $50,000.

Suzannah Marie Strom, 40, Rolla, distribution of heroin; bond set at $250,000.

Tristin Allen Paul Affolter, 20, Doolittle, distribution of hydrocodone; bond set at $50,000.

Timmoundes Lamark Mack Jr., 20, Rolla, distribution of marijuana; bond set at $5,000.

Sarah L. Sagel, 22, Newburg, MO, two counts of distribution of Xanax in public or government assisted housing; bond set at $250,000.

Henrietta Taber, 55, St. James, MO, attempt to manufacture methamphetamine; bond set at $50,000.

Ronald D. Taber, 54, St James, attempt to manufacture methamphetamine; bond set at $50,000.

Johnny L. Watring, 31, St James, attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone and morphine); bond set at $100,000.

Michael R. Trumbo, 37, St James, four counts of distribution of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia; bond set at $250,000.

Kristal D. Edmonds, 30, St James, possession of drug paraphernalia; bond set at $5,000.

Richard Charles Maddox, 51, Salem, MO, three counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, heroin, and alprazolam); bond set at $100,000.

Belinda G. Kankolenski, 50, Edgar Springs, MO, two counts of distribution of oxycodone; bond set at $250,000.

Trevor Kenneth Moon, 19, Gravois Mills, MO, one count of distribution of marijuana near a secondary school and two counts of distribution of marijuana; bond set at $200,000.

Holly Clayton, 19, Rolla, two counts of distribution of Oxycontin; bond set at $100,000.

Rebecca L. Clayton, 42, Rolla, two counts of distribution of Oxycontin; bond set at $100,000.

Penny L. Royal, 51, Licking, MO, distribution of hydrocodone; bond set at $30,000.

Kathy R. Kasprzak, 62, Edgar Springs, manufacturing marijuana and felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute; bond set at $100,000.

Thomas R. Kasprzak, 62, Edgar Springs, manufacturing marijuana and felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute; bond set at $100,000.

During the arrest of the Kasprzak’s at their residence in Edgar Springs, officers found evidence of another marijuana indoor grow operation. Seized at the time were 18 marijuana plants and approximately three pounds of processed marijuana. Officers will seek additional warrants based upon the seized evidence.

Jedadiah L. Sherman, 32, Newburg, distribution of methamphetamine; bond set at $50,000.

Kalib J. Aungerer, 19, Rolla, two counts of distribution of marijuana; bond set at $50,000.

Joshua Allen Burbey, 20, Rolla, distribution of marijuana; bond set at $50,000.

Joshua Lee Brazzle, 26, Rolla, possession of methamphetamine and associated paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and associated paraphernalia; bond set at $50,000.

During the course of today’s round up, the following five individuals, who were also being sought on drug-related charges connected to this investigation, were found to already be incarcerated:

Seth German, 22, Rolla, distribution of marijuana. German was incarcerated in the Phelps County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Daniel Jewel Wilson, 29, Edgar Springs, distribution of heroin. Wilson was incarcerated in the Phelps County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Percy D. Golden, 41, St. Robert, MO, distribution of methamphetamine. Golden was incarcerated in the Pulaski County Jail on $250,000 bond.

Jackie Mullins, 35, Cuba, MO, distribution of morphine. Mullins was incarcerated within the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Robert B. Bishop, 26, Doolittle, manufacturing methamphetamine. Bishop was incarcerated within the Missouri Department of Corrections.


The charges for which the above listed individuals were arrested are mere accusation and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
