EMPHASIS: Drug Investigation In Osage County

Captain Kyle Marquart, director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control, announces the result of a joint narcotics investigation in Osage County.

On Thursday, April 21, 2011, members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and deputies from the Osage County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on a residence in rural Osage County. As a result of the search warrant, two pounds of processed marijuana were discovered along with methamphetamine making materials. Arrested were Gary Whithous, 28, and Brian Whithous, 28, both of Morrison, Missouri. They were held without bond in the Osage County Jail for felony, narcotics-related charges.

The felony charges mentioned above are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
