EMPHASIS: Announcement Of Boating While Intoxicated Saturations

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces that sometime during the month of September, two boating while intoxicated saturations will be held in Troop H. The Missouri State Highway Patrol will conduct the saturations. A total of two troopers will be assigned to each of the eight-hour operations.
The focus of these projects is to detect impaired boaters and watch for hazardous boating operations that contribute to boating crashes.
Captain Duane L. Robinson stated, “Operating a vessel while intoxicated puts everyone on the water at risk. One bad decision can ruin a lifetime of memories, please stay sober while on the water."
