EMPHASIS: Troop G Releases Results Of Howell County DWI Saturations


Captain Billy E. Chadwick, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 76 arrests and 121 warnings were issued in conjunction with two DWI Saturations conducted on December 13 and December 27, 2008 in Howell County. Totals from these saturations include:

1 -- felony DWI arrest
5 -- misdemeanor DWI arrests
11 -- speed arrests
29 -- seat belt summonses
2 -- other hazardous moving violation arrests
4 -- driver’s license arrests
13 -- non-moving arrests
6 -- no-insurance arrests
3 -- minor-in-possession arrests
2 -- other misdemeanor criminal arrests

Captain Chadwick says, “The Missouri State Highway Patrol has always taken DWI enforcement very seriously. DWI Saturations can be very effective in helping us achieve our traffic safety goals.”
