EMPHASIS: Traffic Enforcement Operations In Henry County


Captain Robert L. Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces that Troop A will conduct two special traffic enforcement operations in Henry County sometime during the months of August and September. The goal of the special traffic enforcement operations is to reduce the number of traffic crashes throughout the area by strict enforcement of laws related to alcohol, speed and seatbelt compliance, with increased visibility. The overtime operations concentrate additional officers to monitor traffic and ensure drivers are traveling in a lawful manner.
