EMPHASIS: Results Of Sobriety Saturation In St. Louis County


Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the results of a driving while intoxicated saturation conducted on Saturday, September 22, 2012, in St. Louis County. Four Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers conducted the enforcement operation during the eight-hour project.

Speed -- 3 summonses
Seat Belt -- 4 summonses
Uninsured Motorists -- 2 summonses
Non-Moving Violations -- 2 summonses
Failed To Yield -- 1 summons
Followed Too Close -- 2 summonses
No Driver’s License -- 1 summons
Other Hazardous Moving -- 3 summonses
Driving While Revoked -- 1 summons
DWI -- 1 arrest
Misdemeanor Warrant -- 8 arrests
Warnings -- 19

“Sobriety saturations are very important in making our highways a safer place to travel,” stated Captain Johnson. “Troop C officers will be conducting various special enforcement operations throughout 2012 with a goal of reducing traffic crashes and saving lives.”
The Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves from all types of hazardous drivers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Click It 4 Life!
