EMPHASIS: Troop I Announces January Special Enforcement Operation


Captain Lee Ann H. Kenley, commanding officer of Troop I, announces that sometime during the month of January, troopers assigned to Troop I will be involved in a special enforcement operation specifically targeting those drivers who are operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. During this operation, troopers will patrol those highways in Crawford County where statistics have shown a larger number of crashes and arrests have occurred in the past involving impaired drivers.
“Too many people are seriously injured or killed on Missouri’s streets and highways every year by drunk drivers,” said Capt. Kenley. “I hope that these saturation patrols may serve as another important tool in fighting this serious problem.”
