EMPHASIS: Patrol Hiring Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Inspectors


The Missouri State Highway Patrol is now accepting applications for the position of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Inspector I & II. Fourteen positions are open statewide. Troop A, which covers 13 counties in west central and northwest Missouri, has four openings. Two inspectors are to be hired at the scales in Platte City, MO, one at the scales in Kearney, MO, and one at the scales in Mayview, MO. Interested individuals must submit the Patrol’s Application for Employment prior to the application deadline of July 23, 2007. Interview boards are tentatively scheduled for the week of July 30, 2007. If selected, all new inspectors will be required to attend a minimum of six weeks training at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, MO.
