EMPHASIS: Troop G Announces Results Of Special Enforcement Operation



Captain Mark G. Inman, commanding officer of Troop G, releases the following information:

A total of 38 citations and 39 warnings were issued in conjunction with a hazardous moving violation enforcement operation conducted in Texas County on February 6, 2015. Also, during the operation, troopers made two misdemeanor warrant arrests and three misdemeanor criminal arrests. The designated highways for this operation were U.S. Highways 60/63 and Missouri Highway 17. Totals from this operation include:

11 -- speed citations
19 -- seat belt citations
1 -- hazardous moving violation citation
1 -- non-moving violation citation
2 -- no driver's license citations
4 -- uninsured motorist citations
2 -- misdemeanor warrant arrests
3 -- misdemeanor criminal arrests


Captain Inman says, "Hazardous moving violation operations are one tool the Missouri State Highway Patrol uses in order to make our roadways a safer place for Missouri's motorists. Please be careful when behind the wheel and always be a safe, courteous driver."

In support of 'The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths,' the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
