EMPHASIS: Patrol Hosting News Conference On New Motorcycle Patrol

The Missouri State Highway Patrol will host a news conference at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008, near the construction zone on the Vivian Road overpass over Interstate 35 in Clay County. The news conference is to showcase the recent re-implementation of the Patrol’s use of motorcycles in traffic safety. Colonel James F. Keathley will speak on behalf of the Patrol to announce the enforcement plans and operations for the motorcycle units. In the event of rain or severe weather, an alternate site will be determined closer to the date.
