EMPHASIS: Results Of Impaired Driving Enforcement Project In Taney County


Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, announces the results of a three-day driving while intoxicated saturation in Taney County. The enforcement project involved six troopers concentrating their efforts from Thursday, June 20 through Saturday, June 22.

A total of 262 drivers were stopped during the operation, and the following is a list of the enforcement contacts:

16 -- Driving While Intoxicated
63 -- Seat Belt
3 -- Child Restraint Violations
13 -- Drivers License Violations
10 -- Speed
24 -- Uninsured Motorists
23 -- Hazardous Moving Violations
29 -- Non-moving
14 -- Felony & Misdemeanor Drug Arrests
3 -- Felony & Misdemeanor Warrant Arrests
3 -- Other Misdemeanor Arrests
