EMPHASIS: 20-Mile Trooper Totals


Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer, Troop F Headquarters, Jefferson City, announced today the results of the “20-Mile Trooper” saturations that were held on Interstate 70 in Boone, Callaway, Cooper, and Montgomery counties. The projects were held on July 3, 2013, and July 7, 2013. During the operations, a total of 215 vehicles were stopped. The following is a list of enforcement contacts during the operation:

86 -- Speed
13 -- Seat Belt
2 -- Careless And Imprudent
5 -- Other Hazardous Moving
27 -- Non-Moving
1 -- Driver's License (Suspended/Revoked/None)
5 -- Insurance
2 -- Felony Drugs
3 -- Misdemeanor Drugs
1 -- Minor In Possession
10 -- Stranded Motorist Checks
177 -- Warnings

The Patrol encourages motorists and watercraft operators to protect themselves by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint and everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket.
