EMPHASIS: Drug Seizure, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D.


On Wednesday, December 18, 2007, an eastbound 2003 Dodge pickup was stopped on Interstate 44 east of MO route 13, in Greene County. Due to conflicting stories from occupants of the vehicle, consent to search was requested, and granted. The ensuing search of the floor planks, on the empty trailer being towed, resulted in the discovery of 475 pounds of marijuana.
The driver, Consuelo Cabral, of Crystal Balch Springs, TX, was arrested for drug trafficking, and released to Greene County Sheriff’s office.
The charge for which the above person is accused is a mere accusation and not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of this charge must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty it is to determine guilt or innocence.
